I just bought Tabula Rasa -
SAVE YOUR MONEY! It's the worst game I've played to date. The makers tried to mix an FPS and MMORPG, but failed.
Here's why the game sucks:
Play control sucks: you can bunny hop in many different directions (***e on.. that's just weak).
It's hard to see targets: you can't auto-target any bad guys like most MMORPGs which is fine, but the haze in the game makes seeing impossible.
My poor legs: I walked around the woods for like 30 min before I saw anything to shoot at. No travel powers or vehicles?
No tutorial: the game starts and you're in some camp... what do you do next.. who knows.
Choppy graphics: I have a brand new machine with over 3 gigs of ram and I still got chop.
Limited character customization: you can choose like 3 faces, 4 shirts, and like 5 pants. I may be wrong on the exact number, but for a ***pany to brag about customizing a toon they really need to add some features.
The price of the game: $49 or $64 (deluxe) - then $15 per month. PlayNC is WELL KNOWN FOR DROPPING THEIR PRICE after a few months to $19.99 for the game. Also, I've played City of Heroes and the servers crash ALL THE TIME with no explanation.
If you're going to try this game, wait until they give a free weekend, or wait for a year until they drop the price. DO NOT SPEND YOU'RE HARD EARNED MONEY ON TABULA RASA.
