Favorite ps2 game won't load? Does it make a vibrating or grinding noise when trying to load? Don't toss it. It could be slipping. Check the top of the disc around the hole. If you see streaks or grooves around the hole it is probably worn out and slipping.
Just place a piece of masking tape (blue or white) on top of the disc over the hole and the streaks, cut out the hole and you should be good to go. Good Luck!
