| How many of you guys would go to the mall and pay a fee per hour to play video games? the environment would be a video game atmosphere (of course) and there would be multiple systems to link up (i.e. halo, madden, etc.) so you can play co-op or multiplayer games. Its just like playing live, but the people against you are right next to you. So how many of you think this would go to a store and do this? and how much would you be willing to pay per hour?

| Not really, why would u pay like $20 to play an hour when u can buy a game after 3 hours? Also i could play online or w/ my friends so it would be a waste.

| because after a while, playing against your friends would get boring because you learn their strategy. also your friends aren't always available everytime you would want to play, so creating a store, you'll always have people to play with/against. And yes, you can just buy the game but you won't experiance the enjoyment of playing against other people, you'll just play by yourself. This idea is just like xbox live, but the people are actually next to you

| So, It would still be a waste. I could use a PS2 and go online against anyone for free. Also I could change the server so I play against other people. I still think its a waste.

| well yea, when you think of that, it is cheaper. but think of the fun side of it. some people go to the arcade and play fighting games (for example). most likely you can buy the game and play at home. but the fact that you're playing with other people, and other people are watching you. its just the environment for people to hang out and have fun. why go to the movies and watch it in the theater when you could just wait for the dvd to ***e out and own it? the fact that you are going out and doing something rather than just staying home. plus at the theater, you get a largers screen. its the same concept for my idea.
